IEM Sydney Asia closed qualifier set to kick off

The Asian closed qualifier for IEM Sydney 2018 is ready to commence today, with three spots up for grabs to the main event.

The eight-team competition will run from April 4-11 that will witness Asia's top teams collide in a best-of-three, double-elimination format.

Notable names from the Asian region including StarLadder ImbaTV Chongqing Invitational champions TYLOO and CAS 2018 winner MVP PK are among the favourites to qualify for the $250,000 event.

Singporean side BOOT-d[S] will make their debut in today's series with their newest addition Alikhan "⁠w1nt3r⁠" Kopzhanov, after the departure of Benjamin "⁠moxie⁠" Kou.
